GLNC Welcomes Courtney Draper to the Board

29 April, 2025

The Grains and Legumes Nutrition Council (GLNC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Courtney Draper to its Board of Directors.

Ms Draper brings a wealth of experience in the grain and legume supply chain and will play a vital role in supporting the organisation’s mission in promoting the benefits of grains and legumes.

Ms Draper currently leads the Australian Export Grains Innovation Centre (AEGIC), where she leverages her expertise in trade, market insights, and governance to guide AEGIC’s diverse portfolio of projects and position Australian grain as the preferred choice in international markets.

Hailing from a generational Australian grain farming family, Ms Draper brings both personal and professional passion to the future of the Australian grains industry and its relationships with consumers.

A former lawyer, she has held several senior roles in trade and governance, including previously leading AEGIC’s Market Insights team.

GLNC Chair Ron Storey is delighted to welcome Ms Draper to the Board.

“Courtney Draper’s appointment reinforces GLNC’s capacity as a key connector through the grains value chain; from end consumers and food manufacturers back up the chain to farm gate. Her AEGIC experience also connects our Australian nutrition and health trends with the global trends in export markets,” Mr Storey said.

GLNC looks forward to the leadership and strategic insights Ms Draper will bring as the organisation continues its work to support healthier, more sustainable diets for all Australians.
