Berry Fresh Smoothie Bowl

1 serve of whole grain
Each serve is 16g of whole grain. GLNC recommends 3 serves daily.

Ingredients

Smoothie:

  • 1 cup frozen berries
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup So Good™ Almond Milk Original
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)

Toppings:

  • 1 tbs chia seeds + 1/2 cup So Good™ Almond Milk Original
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tsp flax seeds
  • Chia seeds (dry for garnish)
  • 1 kiwi and 2/3 peach (or other seasonal fruits)

Method

  1. Soak chia seeds in 1/4 cup So Good Almond Milk and put aside for at least 15 minutes (best results if soaked overnight).
  2. Blend together frozen berries, banana, milk and rolled oats (and optional honey).
  3. Pour smoothie into bowl and add pre-soaked chia seeds on top.
  4. Now arrange seasonal fruits and oats on top, then sprinkle flaxseeds and chia seeds all over.
