Chocolate Brownies

Delicious brownies with a chickpea twist. Chocolate chips can be substituted or mixed and matched for nuts or raspberries.

Total Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients

  • 300g can chickpeas drained
  • 45g almonds
  • 75g brown sugar
  • 30g cocoa powder
  • 15g baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 200ml coconut cream
  • 70g choc chips of choice, nuts or raspberries

Method

  1. Place all ingredients except the choc chips into a food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. Deposit batter into a pre-lined tin and spread out evenly.
  3. Sprinkle with chocolate chips, or other toppings of choice.
  4. Bake at 180 for approx. 35-40 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean.
  5. Once baked, remove from oven and allow to cool.
  6. Once cool, slice as desired.
