Delicious brownies with a chickpea twist. Chocolate chips can be substituted or mixed and matched for nuts or raspberries.
Total Time: 45 minutes
Ingredients
- 300g can chickpeas drained
- 45g almonds
- 75g brown sugar
- 30g cocoa powder
- 15g baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 3 large eggs
- 200ml coconut cream
- 70g choc chips of choice, nuts or raspberries
Method
- Place all ingredients except the choc chips into a food processor and blend until smooth.
- Deposit batter into a pre-lined tin and spread out evenly.
- Sprinkle with chocolate chips, or other toppings of choice.
- Bake at 180 for approx. 35-40 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean.
- Once baked, remove from oven and allow to cool.
- Once cool, slice as desired.
