
A healthy twist on a classic. This Apple Pie Toastie is the perfect recipe to satisfy sweet cravings, with the added benefits of whole grains, vitamins and minerals.

Ingredients
- 4 slices of Tip Top The One Wholemeal bread
- 1 green apple, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon butter
Method
- Combine ricotta, honey, and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Spread the ricotta mixture on each slice of bread.
- Place apple slices on two of the slices, then top with the other two slices.
- Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Cook sandwiches for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
- Cut the sandwich in half, stack the slices, and drizzle with extra honey.
