
Warm up this cold winter morning with a desert for breakfast! Rich in wholegrains to keep you fuller for longer
Ingredients:
- 1 cup oats
- 1/4 cup rolled quinoa flakes
- 1/2 cup buckwheat
- 1/2 cup Wholemeal flour
- 1/4 cup flaxseed meal
- 4 apples (skin on)
- 1 cup frozen raspberries
- 1/4 cup light extra virgin olive oil
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 Tbsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup water
Method:
- Cut apples into slices and add to a saucepan
- Add water and cinnamon and stew apples on low heat with lid half on for 5-10 minutes or until slightly soft
- Put oats, buckwheat, quinoa, flour, flaxseed meal, oil, maple syrup and vanilla extract to a bowl and mix with fingertips to combine
- Add Apples and frozen raspberries into a dish, then add the crumble on top
- Cook in oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes or until golden
- Serve with some vanilla yogurt and enjoy?
