Overnight Oats

A jar of goodness bursting at the seams with whole grains, nuts and seeds. 

Oats are an incredible way to start your morning and are great contributors to our gut and heart health! These little whole grains have LOADS of benefits, but one in particular is that it contains dietary fibre. What does this do? The fibre within oats is slow releasing, which means your body is slow to digest them, keeping you fuller for longer and avoiding any spike in blood sugar levels. 

Ingredients: 

  • 1/2 cup Uncle Toby’s Quick Oats 
  • 2 tbsp Chia Seeds 
  • 1/4 Seed/Nut Mix (my favourites are pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, pepitas, almonds)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon 
  • 1 cup Uncle Toby’s Oat Milk (Calcium fortified)
  • 1 tsp Queen Sugar Free Maple Syrup
  • OPTIONAL: 2 tbsp yoghurt 

Method:

In a jar or container, place all dry ingredients then all wet ingredients. Give everything a really good stir. Leave in your fridge overnight and serve in the morning with extra raspberries and yoghurt.
