Baked Berry Oat Slice

0.75 serve of whole grain
Each serve is 16g of whole grain. GLNC recommends 3 serves daily.

Cooking time: 40 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups rolled oats
  • Quarter of a cup of lupin flakes
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 mashed ripe bananas
  • 1.5 cups milk of choice
  • 1 chia egg
  • Quarter of a cup of maple syrup
  • 2 cups fresh berries

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees
  2. Make chia egg and mash bananas
  3. Mix together dry ingredients in a bowl
  4. Combine dry ingredients with milk, chia egg, maple syrup, and berries and mix well
  5. Pour into a baking pan and bake for about 40 minutes

Can be stored for up to 5 days in an airtight container
