Trio of Dips

Ok, here us out. You don’t have to buy pre-packaged trio of dips. These three are going to be better than any you buy in the deli aisle. They’re unreasonably easy to make. Even easier to eat. And super convenient to pack on a brunch picnic in the sun. They even go perfectly with Vita-Weats or even our savoury seed crackers,

Hummus

Prep time: 10 mins

Makes: approx. 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 400g can chickpeas, rinsed & drained
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp tahini
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small clove garlic
  • 1-2 Tbsp water

Method
Place all ingredients in a blender or food processer & blend until smooth.

Sweet Potato Hummus

Prep time: 10 mins

Makes: approx. 2 cups

Ingredients

  • ⅔cup hummus (recipe above)
  • 1 cup mashed sweet potato

Method
Combine hummus and sweet potato in a medium bowl and stir to combine.

Whipped Feta

Prep time: 10 mins

Makes: approx. 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 250g block feta cheese
  • ¾ cup reduced fat plain Greek style yoghurt
  • Black pepper, to taste

Method
Place all ingredients in a blender or food processer & pulse until combined.
