Three Quick & Easy Festive Dips

Looking for the perfect dip recipes? Look no further than this trio of dips: they’re delicious, full of protein and fibre, and perfect for the festive season!

Hummus

Prep time: 10 mins

Makes: approx. 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 400g can chickpeas, rinsed & drained
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 1 small clove garlic, peeled
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1-2 tbsp water

Method

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Serve with Vita-Weat or Cruskits.

Sweet Potato Hummus

Prep time: 10 mins

Makes: approx. 2 cups

Ingredients

  • ⅔ cup hummus (recipe above)
  • 1 cup cooked sweet potato, mashed

Method

  1. Combine hummus and sweet potato in a medium bowl. Stir well until combined. Serve with Vita-Weat or Cruskits.

Whipped Feta

Prep time: 10 mins

Makes: approx. 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 250g block feta cheese
  • ¾ cup reduced fat plain Greek-style yoghurt
  • Black pepper, to taste

Method
Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and pulse until combined. Season with black pepper and serve with Vita-Weat or Cruskits.
